Andy Bloch Poker 

Andy Bloch is a professional poker player that hails from New Haven, Connecticut.  His serious poker playing began back in 1992.  Andy holds a degree in electrical engineering from MIT and a JD from Harvard Law School.  It was during the last week of classes at Harvard Law that Andy played in the 1997 WSOP.  In 1999 Andy passed the bar but made the decision to go with poker as a career choice.

Andy Bloch Poker Career 

Andy made two of the final tables at the 2001 WSOP and took first place at Foxwoods in ’02.  in 2006, Bloch came in second at the WSOP and took 50K from a HORSE event.  This is where he was entered into the World Series of Poker history books for having the longest hand ever recorded.  It took 286 hands to complete the heads up play against David Reese.

It is reported that Bloch’s career winnings far exceed 4M with 2M of that coming from action at the World Series of Poker.
