Clonie Gowen was born inFloridaand raised inOklahoma.  She is a former beauty queen and varsity basketball player.  Her name was inspired by the strong storm outside when she was born.

Clonie hasn’t won any major titles or bracelets but has made quite a name for herself in the Ladies’ circuit of the WSOP and WPT.  She is also currently only one of five people to earn three or more Poker After Dark titles.
